I usually don't like wearing prescription glasses because the ones the high street opticians stock are really plain and boring.
I prefer eyeglasses that are going to stand out and make me look attractive.
You can get some really nice fashionable ones from Zenni Optical, and at decent prices too.
Your eye sight is really important, but you still need to feel confident wearing your glasses to be comfortable, which is something that can be hard to achieve if you wearing frames that you are just making do with.
Typically i would spend about $30 on a good pair of glasses, but when i was looking at the Zenni site there were frames on there from only $8!
Prices that cheap i think i would get myself more than one pair. You know- like one for work, casual and going etc. Maybe go even further and match the frames with the outfit i'm wearing even!
There are plenty of colours and styles to choose from. You can even choose if you want an anti reflection coating, lens tinted or go for sunshade glasses.
All you need to place an order is your prescription, then tailor your choices mentioned above to your own needs.

Gord's health plans allows me to buy glasses and/or contacts. I need 'em for distance.
But I buy cheaper reading glasses.
