We can suddenly get a migraine out of nowhere. Sometimes people suffer from migraines regularly. Here are a few things that could be triggering it off:Stress
This can be good and bad experiences for example a good stress would be pregnancy, giving birth etc.
Studying or working too hard
If you do overdo this all week, after a while you could end up with a severe migraine by the end of it.
Bright lights and glare from the sun
Similar things also would be flashing lights or eye strain when your concentrating on staring at something without blinking for ages i.e computer or TV.
Sleep Disturbia
Not getting enough sleep (8 hours recommended), getting too much sleep or waking up on a irregular schedule.
Certain Smells
Very strong or sickly smells can trigger it for some people like passive smoke from cigarettes.
Over Exercising
This is mainly when your not used to exercising and you do a challenging workout that your body is not used to.
Environment
Changes in air pressure, altitude, temperature etc. This is not something we can control unfortunately. You may have gotten a migraine whilst flying in an aeroplane before. This was probably the reason.
Medication
Whilst you take medication to get better, some of them have side effects that would give you a migraine.
