I have a holiday home in Spain, and my swimming pool is looking a bit dated to say the least.I was thinking of sprucing it up a little. Someone mentioned mosaic pool tiles, instead of replacing the whole pool itself.
This sounded good to me, as i guess i'ts like the inside of your house. You would just paint over a colour on your wall you didn't like and not replace your wall wouldn't you!?
It certainly would be the cheaper option, and i like the idea and feeling of a brand new pool once it's done.
I wanted something a little different to the usual aqua blue and green colours you can get. Mine is more like a faded grey colour at the moment. I think it was actually green originally - who knows!?
Surprisingly enough i found that there are actually a vast amount and variety of colours you can get, which i was really pleased with. Now i just have to choose one i like.
After i have done my pool, i will probably get started on my bathroom at home.
That's the trouble with home improvements, is when you improve something it makes you want to improve the rest of your home too!
