DITCH YOUR OLD MAKEUP

Did you know that you are only suppose to keep hold of your opened make up for a year? But mascara for 6 months only!?

Alot of people keep their eye shadows and lipsticks for years. But i always think to myself if it takes you that long to use them there is probably no point in having that make up in your collection!

But as with everything, all things have an expiry date. Although none are put on makeup, can you imagine all the germs etc that would be on there after 1 year?

Plus they would probably lose the effect they are suppose to give when you use them.

HAND BAG POSTURE

Us women all have hand bags that we use on a daily basis.

You probably carry your handbag on the same shoulder all the time? Probably the same arm on the hand you write with no doubt?

But i heard that this can affect your posture, and the best thing is to keep swapping your bags on different shoulder each day to balance things out!

ANGELINA DRESSED BACKWARDS!

I thought this was hilarious! This is Angeline Jolie wearing a designer dress backwards!

Once she got picked up on it, her and her agent were quick to point out that she knew she was wearing the dress that way as she thought it looked better, and that she wanted to show off his tattoo's!

Looking at the model wearing the dress surely you would know you usually have the big open slits to the front right!

These celebrities! Maybe if she saw it on a coat hanger beforehand instead of it being hand delivered in a box perhaps!?

SLEEP HELPS YOUR SKIN

We all want to look younger, and many of us will use moisturising creams to help slow the age process down.

But something we forget which is a really important factor is getting enough sleep!

It's no good trying to fade away your lines and under eye circles when you wake up in the morning with tired bags that are inevitable whatever cream you use!

Victoria or Posh as we all know her seems to be following the trend of her hubby with his underwear campaign he did not so long back in his boxers!

The underwear will launch in spring 2009.

For someone who is always dubbed looking 'boney and skinny' she actually looks ok in these pictures.
Unless of course it's good lighting and air brushing!

MY BLOODY VALENTINE - SHORT FILM REVIEW

This is a horror film with a difference, as the film in shown with 3D effects.
You even get to wear your own set of cool 3D glasses!

You will be pleasantly surprised with the effects. When i saw the film i expected to be wearing the old style cardboard glasses and see a few pop up bits like on the old Freddie Kruger 3D film , but i was so wrong!

As well as getting normal glasses to wear, there are 3D effects throughout the film which will surprise you, make you jump and flinch too! It really makes the film extra special.

The film itself is good, but not sure if it would have been without the 3D effects.
You are kept hooked all the way through though.

Expect the usual blood, gore, violence and nudity scenes etc with a brilliant twist!

Pamela Anderson: (This one shocked my the most actually as i think Pamela Anderson is extremely pretty)

Christina Aguilera: sheds a whole new light on her 60's chick image with this washed out look!

THIN LIPS MAKEUP TIP

A colour lipstick can look great on one person and not so great on others, but there is a simple solution to this.

Everyone has different sized lips. If you have quite thin lips you would look best with paler colour lipsticks like pink or berry.

This then gives you the appearance of more youthful lips, and an impression of plumpness.

As with your darker colours it just shows up how thin your lips are.

WHO DO YOU PREFER? - Orlando Bloom

Lord of the Rings was what really kicked off Orlando Blooms career.

He is barely recognisable in his role, but yet because we know who he is alot of people still tell me they find him attractive as his character Legolas in the film!

Me personally prefer the normal Orlando. Most definitely in the Pirates of the Caribbean film anyway! - I know i'm predictable, but hey what can a girl do right!?

Start your main meal with a starter

It may seem like your eating too much, but if you eat a salad or vegetable soup they are low in calories and will fill you up.

Non starchy foods are great like vegetables like peppers, carrots, celery, and cucumbers, as they all have high water content, and a low calorie count.

Take a 15 brisk walk

As well as burning off calories, it helps you fight the urge to want to munch on snacks

Cut down on the soft drinks

You may think your doing the right thing, and feeling better about yourself by drinking diet coke, but in fact even diet soft drinks and artificially sweetened foods can lead to weight gain.

Your better off drinking plenty of water, which is good for you and again will fill you up.
