LADY GAGA QUITS TWITTER FOR CHARITY

In a bid to raise money for Keep A Child Alive aids charity Lady GaGa will temporarily be quitting Twitter from tomorrow until 1 million dollars has been raised.

She already has over 7,205,644 on the site. How are these Social network hungry fans going to cope? All fun and jokes aside though it is for a fantastic cause and GaGa won't be the only one abandoned Twitter on World's Aids Day.

Other popular Twitterers Justin Timberlake, Jennifer Hudson, Ryan Seacrest and The Kardashians have all agreed to take part.

I just hope a lot of celebrities are going to be putting their hands in their heavy pockets and not just the general public.

COMEDY MOVIE LEGEND LESLEY NIELSEN DIES

They always say bad luck comes in threes and it seems to follow pattern with famous deaths too from what I have saw in the past.

Recently Turkey King Bernard Mathews died and now there is news of comedy movie star Lesley Nielsen passing away.

84 year old Lesley died in a Florida hospital as he was being treated for pneumonia. He will always be remembered the most for his films Naked Gun, Airplane, The Forbidden Planet and Poseiden Adventure and of course his witty one liners such as "I am serious and don't call me Shirley!"

R.I.P to one of the great movie legends. I am just wondering now what sad news of someone famous that we might be hearing about next?

NEED FUNDING FOR YOUR COMMUNITY? - The Co-op offering grants for good causes

Non profit groups and projects are fantastic. We all want to make our community a better place and help others. But when there becomes a problem with that group or project that needs financial backing we can't always rely on the actual community to put their hands in their pockets and contribute as a lot of people simply can't afford it.

The Co-op group are big believers in changing the way things are across the UK and trying to assist people who truly do need their help. This could be for things like a learning centre in need of new computers, a youth club that could do with new equipment or a disaster has happened in a community building and it needs a complete renovation.

The shareholders have invested 1.2 million into The Cooperative Membership Fund registered charity scheme, where they hope to spread the money around to thousands of community, self help and voluntary groups for grants between £100-£2,000 per project.

Plenty of people have already benefited from the grants. You can see what these projects are via the website, but I have pictured two here to give you a general idea.

If your interested in putting your group or project forward they must already have been carrying out positive work in the community whether it is charitable or not. You also need to make sure your cause is going to be a long term benefit to the community and it is actually addressing a community issue as such.

Co-op are looking for projects that are not only thought provoking but supports their principles and values too. The online application is very in depth and will be asking you important questions about the who, what and where of your project including any financial statistics. But 45 minutes of your time is nothing compared to what you could be getting back from it all.

If I were to put forward an application for my area it would be to revive our neighbourhood playground and get some gates put around it that are locked on the nights. It's been deteriorating for years now to the point its not safe for children to play on anymore and because they can't it attracts the wrong type of people.

KATE MIDDLETON'S COLLEGE FASHION SHOW DRESS WORTH THOUSANDS

With the assumption of Kate Middleton being the future Queen of England as she goes about marrying Prince William, her famous dress that she wore at a university fashion show could be worth a massive £100,000.

Charlotte said she has no plans to sell the dress. That's it Charlotte at least wait till Kate and Prince William are married or if Kate becomes Queen and you will be raking it in girl!

WESTLIFE REJECT BRIAN MCFADDEN'S PLEA OF REJOINING BAND

Oh dear looks like ex Westlife member Brian McFadden is regretting quitting the band for a solo career all those years back.

And after seeing Robbie reunite with Take That he said he would like to join Westlife again. Nothing to do with your solo career not being successful and Westlife still topping the charts after you left by any chance is it Brian?

"I don’t think it’s even remotely interesting if Brian came back. Brian left because he didn’t like being in the band. It wasn’t because we fell out.”

Then on discussing Robbie joining Take That again;

"He's one of the biggest male solo performers of the past 20 years. You can't compare it."

Ouch, looks like Twittering Brian is not welcome! I don't blame his ex band mates really for dismissing him. Why should they share their huge success and money with him when he left for selfish reasons? And he expects to just walk back in ..... reality check Brian!

LINDSAY LOHAN VIOLATES PROBATION & LOSES FILM ROLE

Looks like rehab is still a work in progress for Lindsay Lohan as she has recently failed two random drug tests.

She has already been warned by her judge that she could face 30 days in prison if she violates her probation, so we will have to find out happens at her next court hearing.

And to top off it all off the director of her proposed film Inferno has had to let her go as he said he can't keep hanging on and wants to continue with an an already delayed schedule. Second choice Malin Akerman will be taking the staring role instead.

A wake up call for Lindsay perhaps? I'm not sure what it will take for her to realise. We are just going to have to wait and see what happen next!
