KELLY OSBOURNE BECOMES NEW FACE OF MATERIAL GIRL

Kelly Osbourne has clearly impressed Madonna and her daughter Lourdes as they have asked her to be the new 2011 face for their fashion range Material Girl which she has accepted.

Lets hope she is a bit more popular than last years face Taylor Momsen who Lourdes didn't take to at all. Lourdes commented on her blog;

The ad screamed, “Desperately seeking Material Girl. Living in a material world and we need material girls.”

And then further went onto say;

“Looking for the hottest girl on the scene, she is never afraid, Hollywood is calling the next girl!”.

My kids get bored really easily and sometimes their toys and cartoons on the TV are not enough to keep them occupied for long.

AN AUTUMN WINTER TREND?: Hair Covering Face

You have got to give it to these catwalk designers -They sure know how to get everyone talking with their strange outfits. This time we have strange hairstyles for a potential future trend too if you can call it one!

For the AF Vandervorst show at Berlins 2011 Autumn/winter fashion week models had their hair covering them in a much tidier wind blowing hair in your face look! Hmmm I think the only person this will catch on with is Lady GaGa perhaps.

The thought of my hair all over my face sounds horrible (trying it out now as I write this!) Oh no no no thank you!

UNDERSTANDING YOUR WEIGHT LOSS AIM

If there is a weight loss program I have probably done it. My problem is I tend to get bored easily and can stick with a programme for about a month then I want to try others out.

The funny thing is though I know exactly what I should be eating and the amount but I always think there is a better plan out there when most end up being the same more or less and you will achieve the same results.

One of the worst diet plans I did was just eating a breakfast bar in the morning, a yoghurt for dinner and a healthy main meal the size of a side plate for my supper. I just felt so hungry always throughout the day.

What I realised after doing some research was that you need to eat so many calories a day for your body to get its energy and if it doesn't you could do hours of exercise but you won't lose as much weight as you want by the end of the week. This is because your body is confused and will start storing its own fat if it sees a loss in its normal daily intakes. Not to mention the loss of energy in your personal well being which will leave you weak and tired.

Usually with many weight loss programs as long as you eat healthy you should be able to reach your goal. I'm not just talking about eating salads all the time although one or two would help. You can still enjoy every day meals like chicken its just about cooking them in a different way. So frying is an obvious no no when cutting down as all those fats are just soaking unnecessary inside your food. You are much better off grilling or putting in the oven.

Also when possible cook your own meals. You would be surprised how much fat these take away and microwave processed meals hide. Yes they are very tasty but there is a reason for that that won't help you in your weight loss challenge.

CHERYL ASKS FOR 'NO XFACTOR' AT BRIT AWARDS

Cheryl Cole has come a long way from a Girls Aloud band member to XFactor judge turned solo singer.

But it seems the nations sweetheart doesn't want to be associated with her role on the XFactor singing show for this years Brit Awards.

She has told organisers she doesn't want to be walking in with or be seated by any contestant from the XFactor as she wants to been seen as a solo singer.

O.K I can see that when people say Cheryl Cole they automatically think of the show but that is what has made her as big as she is to this day. She had the footballer Ashley Cole breakup and her hair adverts that bought her media attention as well as being in a successful girl band. But this show is what really put her in the spotlight.

I don't know about you but I always use the free samples that are handed to me at supermarkets to trial and small items you usually find in magazines like perfume or body lotion.

Until recently I had no idea that you can actually get free stuff online too. All you have to do is join a site like FreeCatcher.com for instance that is full of different offers.

It's funny how what can seem like the smallest thing can get splattered all over the media by the next day. Like Christina Aquilera's scar on her armpit.

The speculation is this scar is from breast surgery. Even if it is I don't know why these stars cant just admit they had had some work done.

If she did want to keep it a secret if it is true I bet she regrets waving to her fans now doesn't she!?

CUTE, FUN & STYLISH KNICKERS

Do you ever have one of those thoughts that if you were to get in an accident and have to go to hospital that you would have a terrible pair of knickers on! Like ones you keep for 'the time of the month' for instance. Sounds silly I know but it happens and if it did it would be so embarrassing for me I just know it!

So I always make sure I wear best knickers every day. The type of underwear is important to me also like thongs would go with leggings, dresses and skinny jeans so you wouldn't see the lines and french knickers go nicely with skirts or looser fitting clothing.

I like to have quite a collection of underwear to go with what I'm wearing (yes I know its a woman thing). Plus its always good to have a few fancy pairs if you have a partner wink wink!

As I was browsing on the Internet to buy more knickers I saw a fab site called BeCheeky that stocks some really cute underwear. There are all kinds of different styles such as boy shorts, shapewear, silk knickers, playful briefs and more.

To be honest the boys shorts is a new to me and I like! So I will definitely be stocking up on some of those to add to my collection.

LINDSAY LOHAN TURNED DOWN FOR CELEBRITY APPRENTICE

After her much talked about hard times it seems Lindsay Lohan just can't get that break she so much wants.

Recently she lost out to take the leading role in film Inferno and now Donald Trump has turned her down for the USA Version of Celebrity Apprentice saying he has her 'best interests at heart'.

He commented saying;

"The Lohans approached me, and we did talk about it. It's just not the right time. Lindsay has to straighten herself out first. And I know Dina [Lindsay's mum], she's a really lovely woman. I don't think she gets very much credit, she's tried."

Then he went on further to say;

"I know Michael [Lohan's dad] a little bit. It could happen in the future, but right now we need to see Lindsay get straightened out."

Lindsay could have found herself up against celebrities such as Meatloaf, La Toya Jackson and David Cassidy to name but a few.

I do wonder though just how many different smells of perfume can you get!?

Yet again silly rumours have been started and spread across the Internet about a celebrity being dead. This time it's singer Avril Lavigne.

But it has been confirmed she is in fact alive and well. So thank you hoax person for wasting every ones time, shocking us unnecessarily and probably upsetting Avril's family too thinking their loved one has passed away. Then again that's their aim isn't it to cause as much disruption as possible?

I think someone needs to get a hobby and oh yes that small matter of a life don't you!?

Russell or @rustyrockets as he is known at on Twitter posted this picture for all to see of Katy Perry first thing in the morning it would seem without her makeup on. She clearly didn't appreciate or expect this shot did she!?

The usually flawless lady had the picture taken off just an hour after Russell posted it. But by then the picture had been saved by all the news guys and is making its way around the Internet.
